Description

Responsibilities:

• Following a script, screenplay, or outline
• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronising them into one rough cut file
• Improving and correcting lighting, colouring, and faulty footage
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer
• Solid experience with editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Creative mind and storytelling skill

Office Time: Monday-Friday; 8 hours a day

Location: Banani, Dhaka

Probation period: 6 months
