Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered automation workflows using n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Airtable (n8n preferred).
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, and build modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop custom nodes (e.g. for n8n) and use JavaScript to transform, validate, and enrich data within workflows
• Build reusable JS functions and code snippets for consistency and maintainability.
• Integrate LLMs into workflows with strong prompt engineering to optimize performance and outputs.
• Build and integrate AI agents (single and multi-agent), RAG pipelines, and LangChain-based workflows.
• Build event-driven and webhook-based workflows; handle scheduling, retries, error handling, and data mapping between systems.
• Develop internal process optimizations to streamline our offshore service delivery operations
• Create client-facing automation solutions that enhance the value of our managed offshore services
• Integrate AI processing capabilities into automation workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain and optimize existing automation systems to ensure peak performance
• Collaborate directly with senior management to deliver solutions that support both internal growth and client success
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automation systems
• Support the development of scalable automation frameworks as our offshore operations expand
• Document automation processes and create technical specifications
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and AI tools

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in workflow automation or process optimization, including 1–3+ years of hands-on n8n in production or agency environments with complex, multi-step workflows (e.g. 20+ nodes).
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, multi-agent systems, RAG, and LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+, async/await, promises, array/object manipulation) and strong Node.js fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks, OAuth, and API troubleshooting 
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing tools.
• Solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript backends (APIs, databases, auth, background jobs) and modern frontends (React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS); comfortable working full-stack.
• Understanding of business process optimization and software development best practices.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and async workflows or job queues.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and design automation frameworks that scale with business growth.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Excellent communication skills for senior management and client collaboration
• Self-motivated with the ability to keep pace in a high-growth environment
• Understanding of business process optimization principles

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Proficiency in Python for scripting, backend services, or AI/ML tooling.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, pgvector) and embedding models for RAG.
• Familiarity with streaming responses, function calling, and tool use in LLM integrations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying automation and APIs.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability (e.g. Datadog, Sentry, Grafana).
• Experience with the Monday.com platform and its API (boards, items, webhooks, integrations).
