Description

Responsibilities:
 

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts using proper financial tools.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and conduct variance analysis.
• Manage audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CA preferred).
- Proven experience (5-7+ years) in finance and accounting roles, with leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent English speaking skills to deal with international stakeholders.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero or Oracle).
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with audit processes and risk management practices.

Office Time: Monday-Friday; 8 hours a day

Location: Banani, Dhaka

Probation period: 6 months
