Responsibilities

IT Governance & Compliance

  • Design and implement comprehensive IT governance frameworks across the organization
  • Develop and implement organization-wide IT governance frameworks and standards.
  • Establish and enforce policies for roles, permissions, and access controls
  • Develop and maintain password management protocols and security standards
  • Create, maintain, and enforce policies related to:
  • Roles & permissions
  • Access control
  • Password & authentication standards
  • Acceptable use, device policies, and system rules
  • Create documentation and standard operating procedures for IT operations
  • Establish structured documentation, SOPs, and process guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Partner with HR, Operations, and Finance to enforce governance across departments.


 

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure

  • Build and maintain robust cybersecurity infrastructure to protect company and client data
  • Implement security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response protocols
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing
  • Manage security tools, firewalls, endpoint protection, and backup systems
  • Lead security awareness training and cultivate a security-first culture


 

Asset & Technology Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive asset management plan for hardware, software, and licenses
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets across the organization
  • Conduct full audit of current tech stack to identify gaps, redundancies, and optimization opportunities
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement processes
  • Optimize IT spending and recommend cost-effective solution.

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3-5 IT professionals
  • Set clear priorities, delegate effectively, and ensure accountability
  • Foster collaboration between IT and other departments
  • Collaborate with all departments to support operational efficiency, system stability, and secure workflows.
  • Build team capabilities through training and professional development

 

 

Requirements:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, security, or infrastructure roles
  • 2+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices
  • Proven experience implementing cybersecurity protocols and managing security infrastructure
  • Experience with asset management systems and IT inventory management
  • Solid knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Project management abilities with track record of implementing systems and processes

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in offshoring, BPO, or distributed team environments
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, etc.)
  • Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud security (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, etc.)
  • Background in conducting technology audits or assessments
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
  • Familiarity with marketing/sales technology stacks
